I am on a diet and besides drinking one liter of water a day I also drink a diet soda here and there. Is this bad for my dieting or will it not affect me? Please help.

umm drink any diet soda with splenda in it all of the other has apertain which can cause ur metabolism to slow down and its just not good for you! good luck!
ya.. diet soda is nothing but carbonated water. Your tummy is gonna be empty most of the time n any kind of soda is going to cause acidity and you may end with tummy ulcers.
Ulcers cause severe pain, heartburn and they dnt go away quickly..
There are some studies which suggest artificial sweeteners can actually increase your appetite and slow down your metabolism. I stay away from all diet products, especially if you are on a diet. Sounds backwards, I know, but stick with water or tea sweetened with cane sugar or regular sugar (Not high fructose corn syrup!).
